"With the right amount of structure and a gentle approach, miracles can happen."

- Steven Snitzer

I have a son who has Asperger Syndrome. Over the years I have become educated about AS, its traits and wide variations, and the great potential of these people. Through conferences and workshops I have learned about the latest research and continuing struggles of people like my son.

As a result of this experience, I have been open to working with Autistic children and I’ve seen some great successes.  I am not trained as a Music Therapist or Special Needs Teacher. However piano lessons are a one-on-one endeavor, and this gives me flexibility. With the right amount of structure and a gentle approach, miracles can happen.  I often learn from my students what the best way is to help them.
