Interview

The best way to begin is to call Steve and set up a time to visit. The parent and child get to see where the lessons are and meet the teacher. During that time I work with the child at the piano for a few minutes, long enough to give him/her a hint of what lessons will be like, while I get to see that they are ready for lessons. This is the time to talk about the Suzuki Method and for you to ask questions. Not all students do the Suzuki Method but I like to tell you about it and how it influences my teaching.

Fees

When we meet I will tell you exactly what the cost will be. My fees are similar to other professionals in the area. Lessons are scheduled by semester with 16 lessons in each semester.

Attendance

Students register for semesters of 16 lessons in the fall and spring. I am as flexible as I can be about schedule changes.

Group lessons

For the youngest beginners, those age 4 and 5, a good way to begin is in a group of 3 or 4 children, twice a week.
